In Cancun and fancy a good time? Sounds like a pick-up line, eh? Well it’s not, but the question remains – if you’re looking for adventure activities near Cancun, there’s plenty just around the bend. Here are some of the best ways to go about having the best time while in Cancun.

Vacation is about getting out of your normal routine and having a grand time doing so. If this is the case for you and yours, consider having an adventure near Cancun. From snorkeling , driving a hummer through the wilderness, to ziplining through the jungle and stopping at ancient Mayan temples, all are close by when visiting Cancun. Any of that sound interesting? Why not do all four?

If snorkeling in Cancun is what you came to the Mexican Riviera to do, then consider a trip to Xcaret. In this vast eco-archaeological park, you can spend your day snorkeling in the fish and reef, swim with dolphins, or watch one of the many shows relating the theme park to its archaeological roots – an ancient Mayan port.

Ever catch yourself daydreaming about the Caribbean and the lost tales of swashbuckling pirates and damsels in distress? If that’s the case, then the Captain Hook Cruise in Cancun is for you. In this themed day trip extravaganza, you can see what it’s like to live life as a pirate in a traditional tall ship. You’ll sail the crystalline waters of Cancun, and even get a chance to experience what it is to survive a real pirate attack. A once-in-a-lifetime experience in Cancun.

If seeing the ancient Mayan ruins are in your Must –Do list, then consider one of the many available options in Cancun. There’s the Chichen Itza Day Trip, and the Tulum and Xel-Ha All Inclusive if you want to spend a whole day in the majesty of the Mayan ruins.
