1. Magens Bay Beach

Magens Bay Beach is a beautiful half-mile-long stretch of white sand sheltered by two peninsulas and ideal for swimming. It’s one of the most popular beaches on the island and a favorite St. Thomas cruise ship destination; so expect crowds and a lively atmosphere.

2. Lindberg Bay

Less crowded than Magens Bay Beach, Lindberg Bay is another of the best beaches on St. Thomas and a favorite spot to take the family. The water off the coast is calm and shallow, there is a children’s play area nearby and some nice beachfront restaurants.

3. Trunk Bay

St. John

Ranked among the best beaches in the world, St. John’s Trunk Bay is the most beautiful beach on the island and a favorite destination for snorkeling. A nationally protected area, Trunk Bay’ underwater snorkeling trail extends just off the coast.

4. Cinnamon Bay Beach

St. John

A national park and campground, Cinnamon Bay Beach is a popular destination for water sports including windsurfing, kite boarding and kayaking. Active travelers can also enjoy camping, hiking and mountain biking around Cinnamon Bay.

5. Cane Bay Beach

St. Croix

A popular snorkeling destination, Cane Bay Beach is the best beach on the island of St. Croix. The water at Cane Bay is calm, clear and rich in marine life. With an impressive reef wall located just offshore, Cane Bay Beach is one of the best dive spots in the Caribbean.
