Siquirres, Costa Rica, Mourns Pocho the Lovable Crocodile

The small, rather nondescript agribusiness center of Siquirres in Costa Rica isn’t exactly a tourist hotspot. The lush setting is lovely, historic, and convenient to Braulio Carrillo National Park. Still, most folks just cruise right past on Highway 32, which connects San Jose to the popular beach towns on the Caribbean Coast, Cahuita and Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.
