Dublin is not just about the late and the great, there is a vibrant cultural scene putting out good, innovative theater and art as we speak. One organisation that has been important in spawning new talent since 1966 is the Project Arts Centre. Liam Neeson, Gabriel Byrne, U2 – they’ve all done a turn on the stages of the Project Arts Centre.
There are two theaters and a gallery space in the building which is found down the historic cobbled streets of Temple Bar, Dublin’s beating heart of new culture, as well as restaurants and bars.
The House Keeper will be showing now through May 12, 2012 in the Space Upstairs. It is a psychological thriller written by Irish playwright Morna Regan, author of the awardwinning Midden.
From now until June 16, 2012, A MacGuffin and Some Other Things will be on display in the Gallery. It includes work by Lucy Andrews, Isil Egrikavuk, David Hall, Alice Rekab and Judith Scott.
