Sometimes when we wander the labyrinthine streets and walkways of Las Vegas, it seems hard to get our bearings. Even more importantly, come four o’clock, it seems hard to gain clear insight as to which of the hundreds of restaurants and bars at our disposal has the best Happy Hour deals in Las Vegas. Don’t worry about getting lost in the confusion; here are some great Happy Hour spots.
First thing’s first, if you’re looking for a killer happy hour on the Strip, you’ll be hard pressed to find one. The restaurants in these mega-casinos operate to make money, but look closely and there are still deals to be had.
Level 107 Lounge (2000 Las Vegas Blvd S) high above the Strip in the Las Vegas Stratosphere is the best of all worlds when it comes to Happy Hour. Cheap with good eats and a great view, if you come to happy hour here you’ll sit on the 107th floor with all of Las Vegas and the Strip down below you. Two-for-one martinis during happy hour 4-7pm daily. Not bad, eh?
Next up is Seablue (3799 Las Vegas Blvd S) at the MGM Grand. Seablue is great food and usually a bit pricey. Find their happy hour, and you’ll be all set though. $1 oysters set the mood, and the drinks are a deal as well. Great seafood at good prices – hard to get much better than that. Unfortunately, Seablue has been closed for a spell but it makes the list anyway because, y’know, $1 oysters, and because it’s set to reopen in early 2013 (i.e. any day now).
Firefly (3900 Paradise Rd) is another great Las Vegas happy hour pick. Known for its stellar sangria and great tapas eats, this restaurant makes the list because of its great food. Short rib sliders and bacon-wrapped dates – this place gets always gets fabulous reviews and if you go before six you can get half off a pitcher of their signature sangria.
