We took up the challenge on a recent trip to Las Vegas, to see if the passes really do save you money, how much value they provide, and how to make the most of the benefits.

Three days in Las Vegas might not seem like a lot, but believe you me, there’s a whole lot that can go down in that amount of time. From bachelor party blowouts, to fantasy football draft picks, there’s a million and one ways to do Vegas and three days are enough to do them in.

There’s so much to see in Las Vegas, it can be utterly overwhelming for a first-timer. The Bellagio, The MGM Grand, Paris, Harrah’s, Luxor, The Stratosphere, The Palms, you name it, it feels like somewhere in the glittering streets, Las Vegas has got it. Umm… yes please? Heading to Las Vegas for a bachelor party is, if I may be so bold as to take a wild guess, probably the number one destination spot for soon-to-be married bachelor revelry. As if the blockbuster movie The Hangover didn’t spell it out well-enough for us, there’s something special about heading to this adult Disneyland in order to party like it’s 1999.

Sometimes when we wander the labyrinthine streets and walkways of Las Vegas, it seems hard to get our bearings. Even more importantly, come four o’clock, it seems hard to gain clear insight as to which of the hundreds of restaurants and bars at our disposal has the best deals for Happy Hour. Sure Las Vegas has a lot going for it. Fabulous resorts, dancing, dining, nightlife, rollercoasters… pretty much every sort of entertainment you can imagine is right at your fingertips. Las Vegas has a plethora of shopping at your fingertips. From Prada bags to designer shades, any hotel you pop into on the Strip will have more than enough shopping to please any impulse you may have. Typically, the more expensive the resort’s nightly rates, the higher end the boutiques you’ll find inside. If you’re not interested in shopping within your hotel, there are other options at your disposal. After all, Las Vegas is a world-class shopping destination.
