Current Attractions in Las Vegas Will Keep You Busy

Planning a trip to Las Vegas? Well why not? I mean, even if you don’t like gambling, there are plenty of attractions to keep you busy. Las Vegas attractions hold something for just about anyone. If you like roller coasters, there’s New York-New York’s taxi-cab themed thriller. If you’ve got kids, Circus Circus has Adventuredome, a fantastic amusement center geared to keep the kids entertained while their parents risk their college funds. Mandalay Bay has Shark Reef, an aquatic paradise (for fish, anyway) with a hypnotic jellyfish exhibit that is not to be missed. Then there’s Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Gardens at the Mirage. Here, you can come face to face with the feline-training duo’s host of white lions, white tigers, panthers and leopards, as well as spending a day as a dolphin trainer, as the wild animal environment also has a habitat for Atlantic bottlenose dolphins.

At the Luxor, take a break from breaking the bank with Bodies… The Exhibition, an amazing view into what makes us tick, featuring a detailed, three-dimensional representation of the human body and its organs. After you’ve seen how the human body works, go see what it can do at the Bellagio. The Bellagio hosts the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil; the current show is entitled O, and it features breathtaking acrobatics international performers in, on and above water.

Speaking of performances, you should also take a look at the MGM Grand’s schedule. In addition to its series of high-profile UFC and boxing matches, MGM’s calendar includes multiple dates for Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour. Personally, I highly recommend Roger Water’s The Wall tour, coming to the Grand on November 26. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the landmark Pink Floyd album, Roger Water’s The Wall is performed in its entirety by Waters and a full band, in front of a state-of-the-art production. Definitely not to be missed. I’d go, but I already have plans. You’ll have to tell me about it.

I saw the Rat Pack show in Vegas over New Year’s break last year. I’m too young to remember those guys, but the show was really fun and the music was groovy. Made me want to order a martini and smoke a cigar.
