Las Vegas Things to Do

If you’re a fan of hiking and the outdoors like me, or simply need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip for the day, why not take a drive out to see some of Nevada’s natural beauty? For some fun variation, I recommend heading to these two vastly different locations.

I’ve lived in Las Vegas for a little over a year now. When I first moved here I thought I’d want to go to the Las Vegas strip every night just for fun. And then I realized that Las Vegas Blvd is a nightmare to drive on if you’re living locally. That in heart, I decided to see what casinos I could find off strip that would offer the same experience without having to drive in a parking lot of traffic.

If you know Las Vegas from TV or movies, you’ll probably expect a lot of glitz, glamour and white tigers. While Vegas has those in spades (at least the glitz and glamour, anyway), there’s more to do than roll craps and nurse hangovers.
