I’ve lived in Las Vegas for a little over a year now. When I first moved here I thought I’d want to go to the Las Vegas strip every night just for fun. And then I realized that Las Vegas Blvd is a nightmare to drive on if you’re living locally. That in heart, I decided to see what casinos I could find off strip that would offer the same experience without having to drive in a parking lot of traffic.

The Valley of Fire is an easily accessible road trip from Las Vegas. Known for its spectacular rock formations (it gets its name from its red sandstone spires), it’s a photographer’s fantasy come true.
