There’s no doubt about it: there’s plenty to do in Las Vegas. So much so that all the sights and sounds can distract you and get a bit confusing. What’s the difference between the old strip and the new strip? What’s the Golden Nugget and where did Frank Sinatra sing again? Is there still a Sahara? Where did we park? Lots of people have turned their sights on NASCAR this year, and not just the usual bunch. 2012 is set to be a record year for NASCAR, due to a major shift in its rulebook. Traditionally, NASCAR has made sure that every car racing in Stock Car Class is mechanically fed fuel by way of carburetors, not modern-day fuel injection, a stipulation which has limited the sport’s evolution in many senses. As of the beginning of 2012, however, that ban is lifted and modern technology is now on the track. The fast track, if you will. Vroom vroom!
