Jenny and I had been in Las Vegas for 3 days already, and had done the whole tourist thing. We had wandered the strip for days, visited the casinos, the restaurants, the hotels. We were exhausted, and felt like we had the entire Vegas experience. There was one thing left for us to do, and it was our Grand Canyon Day Trip.

The Mob Museum in Las Vegas
November 28, 2011
If you find yourself in Las Vegas and indulging in some of its pleasantries, you might not stop to think about its sordid past. But if you stop for a moment and catch yourself thinking about the history of these gilded walls, you might inadvertently stumble into one of the highlights of any trip to Vegas: a trip down memory lane. These guides are engaging and often hilarious, and I always wonder if driving a bus is the day job that allows them to dabble in a second career as stand-up comedians.

June 3, 2010
If you know Las Vegas from TV or movies, you’ll probably expect a lot of glitz, glamour and white tigers. While Vegas has those in spades (at least the glitz and glamour, anyway), there’s more to do than roll craps and nurse hangovers.
