London attractions are generally accessible from a Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, but if you’re feeling your way through the city without the help of a tour guide, do yourself a favor and get a discount pass. You can find good deals on discount London attraction passes online.

Unlike say, a trip to Hawaii, a London vacation is one of those things where you don’t spend a lot of time lying around. I mean, I guess you could, but I can only watch so much TV. My advice: go to a museum. There’s a package for a guided tour of the British Museum that also includes a guided tour of Sir John Sloane’s house. He was an eccentric architect who also collected art. These tours are great because the guide tailors his spiel according to your interest.

After you’ve had your fill of priceless art, go see Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. You can find these in other cities, but the one in London is the original. In addition to the usual suspects (Michael Jackson, Kate Moss, William Shakespeare, etc.), the museum recently added an interactive Marvel Superheroes exhibit, where you can see your favorite characters as they would look in real life.
