Or London, anyway. Personally, I don’t know that I would spend Christmas anywhere but home, unless the whole family decided to go to Hawaii. Lots of people other people spend the holidays on vacation, though, so here’s a suggestion if you’re spending Christmas in London.
For a fairly authentic “Christmas Carol” experience (minus the poverty and portentous visits by ghosts, of course), there is a Christmas Morning Panoramic Tour of London. The advantage here is that you can see many of London’s chief attractions when the crowds are thin and at home with their bread puddings and presents. You’ll get to see sights such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the House of Parliament, all with an informative guide. Given London’s consistently snowy winters, the photo opportunities on Christmas morning are truly magical, and this tour is sure to provide you and your family with an unforgettable holiday experience.
