Everyone knows Los Angeles and Hollywood as Tinseltown, better yet as home of the stars. People come from far and wide to get a glimpse of Hollywood Boulevard and maybe walk the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Still, Los Angeles is much more than this, and an underrated facet of the nightlife and cultural scene here is the theater scene, which is alive, active and healthy. Where do actors cut their teeth? How do they learn the essence of acting for the big screen? On the small stage, of course.

I wonder if people in Los Angeles ever get bored. I don’t see how it’s possible. From Universal Studios to Hollywood to Venice Beach and everything in between (it’s a big city, after all), you could spend a year in the city sampling the sights and you’d still have plenty to show your folks when they come to visit.
