As one of the most vertically impressive cities in Southeast Asia, with a seemingly-ever growing economy, Kuala Lumpur’s skyline has become in itself a major attraction for visitors and with lots of great places to relax and peer out over the city, it is important to be picky.
One of the first and foremost places to go for the best skyline view is KL Tower, where one can enjoy the now-famous revolving restaurant Atmosphere 360. For a truly romantic evening in Malaysia, Atmosphere holds a great buffet-style dinner for about $65 each and although it may seem a little pricy, it is well worth the price of admission, and not only for the view. On offer at the revolving restaurant’s buffet are several delectable dishes, including various kinds of dim sum, stir fried chili crab and fried venison fillet with black pepper sauce.
Another great viewing platform resides in one of the hippest lounges in town, Luna. Sitting on top of the 34th story of a skyscraper, Luna is a multilevel playhouse for the party-going elite, with a wonderful swimming pool, great music and an extravagant drinks list.
On the topic of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, there is one rooftop bar that can describe its best asset, and that place is called “View.” Located the GTower on Jalan Tun Razak, View has a stunning panoramic city view in a great modern setting—and all with a great selection of single-malt whiskey.
Finally, the Grand Millennium Hotel in Bukit Bintang has one of the best views in town with a variety of meeting rooms and guest rooms and restaurants to fit your every need. If you are able to afford this luxury accommodation, it comes highly recommended.
