Kiss My Grits Brunch at the festival

The 12th Annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival will take place in Miami‘s South Beach from Feb. 21–24, 2013. The best chefs and wine producers from all over the world gather every year for this culinary extravaganza hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University (FIU). Over 60,000 people attended the festival last year, which saw over 250 wineries and spirit producers and almost 50 individual events.

The legendary Tobacco Road (or “The Road” if you want to blend in with the locals) has existed in downtown Miami since 1912. With finger-lickin’ specials and prices that are suspiciously reasonable, it’s hard to imagine the long history the bar and music venue has had this past century.
