Montreal Things to Do

Montreal has got a lot going for it. As one of the most exciting, cosmopolitan, and richly cultured cities in all of Canada, it’s easy to get lost in the city’s various attractions. But to do that would be forgoing some of the best Canadian landscape there is. Outside Montreal’s borders lie beautiful flowing hills, mountaintop streams and picturesque scenes at just about every turn. So go on there – get out and explore some of Quebec with these great day trips out of Montreal.

If you think the Niagara Falls are impressive, the Montmorency Falls, which are only a few miles away from Quebec City and about 150 miles or so from Montreal, are even higher (just shy of a hundred feet higher, actually). Spectacular views abound – especially if you venture onto the suspension bridge or cable car. But what else is special about this spot?
