In case you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the New York City sights you won’t have time to squeeze in on your trip, here are a few tips about ways to experience some attractions the sneaky way – that is, with less hassle. New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks

In a series of six concerts, the New York Philharmonic will be performing a mix of Tchaikovsky, Respighi, Brahms, and Wagner pieces FOR FREE in Queens’ Cunningham Park on July 12, Central Park’s Great Lawn on July 13 and 16, and the Bronx’s Van Cortlandt Park on July 17. There will also be an indoor concert at the Staten Island CUNY Center for the Arts at 3pm on July 15 with an even bigger mix of pieces.

In my opinion, merely watching the city go about its business is a sight to behold. Do yourself a favor and spend some time on a park bench or the like and see what the foot traffic looks like. Of course, you’ve probably come to New York City to see more than Central Park joggers or harried Manhattanites. New York does have some iconic landmarks; by taking a bus and walking tours, you’ll be sure to catch the highlights.
