A rustic hoe-down, an old-timey dance hall, red curtains, wooden stage, Wild West music and dancing, and a zany swinging act that will leave the whole family side-splitting with laughter. This is Disney’s Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
Leave it to Disney to put the good-old-fashioned back in Good Time. Disney’s Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is about as wild and care-free as the name suggests. This Vaudeville style entertainment with an all-you-can-eat sampling of some of America’s finest and simplest fare (including beer and wine), Disney’s Hoop-Dee-Doo is always a good time and a good deal for dinner.
Raucous and bawdy and a great place to let your children be as they are, the Musical Revue encourages guest participation. Be ready to sing-along and dance between chowing-down on some fried chicken, sweet corn, smoked BBQ ribs, baked beans, strawberry shortcake and the like. A unique event, the Hoop-Dee-Doo has developed a bit of a following which revolves around traditional southern hoe-downs. If you’ve never been to a barnyard party, consider this your introduction.
Insider tips: The event takes place at Pioneer Hall in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground which is easily accessible by bus from other parks or take the ferry over from the Magic Kingdom. Prepayment is required and can be ordered by calling (407) 827-2253 or by visiting Disney’s website.
