It’s always fun to pick up a collectible or random gift at the local flea market on a Saturday morning – but imagine the largest indoor flea market in the country, with 1,700 booths, and you’ll have some idea of what it’s like to hunt for trinkets at Flea World near Orlando.
Wind-chimes, golf clubs, fantasy games, perfumes, socks, fishing poles, watches, candles, tires, henna tattoos, wheelchairs, pottery, cameras, darts, birds, puppies, videos, knives, wigs, phones, flowers, dolls, shoes… and pretty much anything else you can think of, you’ll find somewhere amongst the maze of vendors.
The adjacent Fun World amusement park is a convenient place to drop the kids while you browse around. They even have a day care and nursery school on-site. Packages like Unlimited Rides And Golf or Unlimited Go-Karts can be purchased, and food and arcade specials can be a pretty cheap way to keep the family fed and entertained – like pizza or jumbo hot dog and a soft drink for $2.50, or ten arcade tokens for $2.
Bumper cars and bumper boats, mini-golf, a carousel, a giant slide, and other attractions like the Scrambler and the Himalaya will turn the Saturday morning – and afternoon – into a great escape from the mundane week! Both Flea World and Fun World are open Friday through Sunday and sit just a short drive from the city of Orlando.
