Joe Berardo is an exceptional man. Born in Funchal, Madeira in 1944 he epitomises a self-made man who has never lost sight of his roots believing that ‘every investor has the obligation to do good in the world.’ And Berardo does good, from his investments in renewable energy resources to his restoration of cultural heritage in Madeira, to the Berardo Foundation and the Berardo Collection of Art.
