After you’ve seen all the Roman monuments you can handle, take a day trip to Naples and Pompeii. You know, to look at their monuments. A package tour usually makes for a long day (they’re over 12 hours long by the time you’ve returned to your hotel), but the trip to Pompeii is totally worth it.
