If you find yourself in San Diego and you’re looking to head toward the beach, ask a local: almost any time is a good time to head toward the beach. Southern Californian weather, pretty typically, sits around the low 80s almost year round, so though the water may be a bit colder in the winter, you’re just as likely to get a good day at the beach in October as you are in June.

Already a town known for its good times, San Diego doesn’t shirk its responsibility when it comes time to celebrate the green. Pay homage to Ireland and the Irish notion of good times with the 33^rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival in San Diego.

Little speaks for the southern California lifestyle like the San Diego Mission Beach Boardwalk. You might call it the soul of the San Diego beach community, and that’s no small praise for a city of over a million people. This fun, expansive boardwalk fills every day with joggers, bikers, rollerbladers, and general beachgoers – essentially everyone and anyone who just wants to get out and join in the sun and fun.
