Get on down to Galicia and the town of Catoira in Northern Spain for the yearly Viking Battle, which takes place on the first Sunday in August. Locals dress up as Viking warriors and the entire population takes part in various festivities, re-enacting the pirate attack on Torres del Oeste Castle in the 11th Century.
