Crave Sydney is a highlight on any food lovers calendar. Attracting famous foodies from around the world, Crave hijacks October with an entire month of food events across Sydney and regional NSW.

Like any grand feast, there’s a packed menu with feature events stealing the show. Here’s a taste of a few of them:

World Chef Showcase
Chefs from around the world (including Sydney’s biggest culinary talents: Matt Moran, Neil Perry, and more) come together to demonstrate their best dishes.

Night Noodle Markets
Hyde Park plays host to Sydney’s most popular Asian restaurants for two weeks during the festival. With over 125,000 people enjoying everything from Peking duck pancakes to wonton soup the whole area takes on an Asian hawker market-type atmosphere.

Barbecue Madness
Australian’s love of BBQs is legendary. The festival kicks off with a whole swathe of themed BBQ events around town.

Showcase Dinners
Everyone’s festival highlight – tasting some of the world’s best food, cooked by some of the world’s best chefs in some of the world’s best restaurants!

Breakfast on Bondi
This BYO event is set on the sands of Sydney’s most famous beach. This free event is an opportunity for everyone to get into the festival spirit.

There are also night noodle markets, a shoot the chef photography competition, pop-up dinners, hands on cooking classes, lectures and demonstrations, food tours and farmers markets and even special classes and events for little chefs in the making.
