Japan’s biggest rock festival kicks off in early August and rocks for three days solid. Held in the National Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka city (Ibaraki Prefecture) on August 3-5, 2012, the festival is the largest of its kind in Japan and continues to grow in popularity each year.

Despite the festival’s name, the bands featured are as pop as they are rock and this festival appeals to music lovers of all persuasions. Tickets sell out well in advance so be sure to book early!
