Touring The Senso-Ji Temple & The Ginza District

Have you ever seen pictures of Tokyo? That place looks like it came from the future. New York City is known for never sleeping, but I think Tokyo is certainly deserved of that moniker as well. You could probably wander around Tokyo for a day or two, dazed by the hustle and flash of the city’s residents and towering buildings, but you’re much better off taking a tour of Tokyo.

Tokyo Sightseeing: Tokyo Harbor & Sumida River Cruises

As I’ve said before, tour packages are generally the way to go when you’re a first-time traveler; Tokyo tour packages vary in duration and sights. Most of them seem to include either a cruise on Tokyo Harbor or the Sumida river, the Asakusa Kannon Temple, Akasaka Palace and Tokyo Tower. They’ll take you through the Ginza district and the Nakamise shopping street, and most will show you some remnant of the Edo period such as the Imperial Palace.
