I often talk about how Tokyo appears to be from the future, but it’s only fair to talk about its connection with the past. For all its technological and engineering marvels of the 20th and 21st century, they often do not compare to the same from the days of the shoguns. Even moreso, the Tokyo countryside is a magnificent contrast to the clamor and rush of the city.
